Renewing in OverDrive is only an option with e-books and only if the publisher allows it. If the e-book is from a publisher that allows renewals the library customer will see a Renew or Request Again button next to the e-book title listed on the customer’s OverDrive book shelf. The Renew button appears only if there are no holds on the title. If there are holds on the title the customer will see the Request Again button which will place them on the holds list. Once the initial check out period is over, the customer will have to download the title onto their device again.
