Hi everybody,
There is another link for signing into Kronos. It's supposed to be faster than the other way. Try it out the next time you need to sign in/out.

Kronos
Hi all,
Everyone should have gotten a couple of emails about Kronos, the new timekeeping software we will be using starting August 20. To get started, you will need to log in to this website: https://coh.kronoshosting.com/wfc/logon with your e# as your username and password for your password (which you will change once you are in the system).
Besides clocking in and out through Kronos, you will also be submitting your vacation requests that way (that means no more 206s!). Those of you who have already requested time off for after August 20, will have to submit your requests through Kronos or the system will think you are scheduled to work! There is a cheat sheet in your email about how to do this. If you need help, let me know.
The E.B. Cape Center is offering one-hour training sessions on Kronos for all employees. The next sessions are on August 17 & 31. Everyone should go if possible, but we need to stagger attendance so that we have enough coverage at the branch. Please look over the schedule in your email and let me know which session you wish to attend. You will need to register for the training through the link provided in the email.
Questions? Just ask :-)

Attn: EVERYONE!!!!!
Greetings all,
I wanted to remind everyone that all staff needs to be very familiar with Policy 2.3 (see link below this paragraph) and ensure that we are all following it when suspending people from the library. This policy explicitly lays out the offenses that can result in suspensions and how long each suspension should be based on type of offense. When suspending someone from a location, we need to make certain that it is done according to this policy.

I really want to draw everyone’s attention to section C. In fact, it is a good practice to print this and share it with all staff. I also would like for everyone to post this information with the link to the policy to your location’s blog. We have to make sure that the suspension we issue for rule violations matches the appropriate listed category (Short Term Suspension, Long Term Suspension, and Indefinite Suspension). In addition, it is crucial that the length of suspension follow the guidelines listed here based on whether it is a customer’s first, second, third (etc.) offense.
Finally, and I can’t stress this enough, anytime there is a suspension, there needs to be an incident report to document the details. In the reports, it is important to explicitly state why the customer was suspended and the duration of the suspension. I find it useful to include a reference to the phrasing in our policy that applies to the situation at hand.
Please let me or your team leader know if you have any questions at all about this.
Thanks,
Mike Van Campen
