ILL Status Explanations

From the QMS Interlibrary Loan Items file:

New: request was just placed. If an item is in “New” status for more than one day, there may be an issue with the item requested.

Pending: request is working its way through the list of owning libraries

Shipped: a library responded yes to the request and has shipped the item

Received: Item has been received by ILL. This status remains on the account until the item is returned and has been received back in ILL.

Returned: item has been received and processed by ILL and is on its way back to the owning library
