Its November!

Its a brand new month!

I have put up the monthly Calendar for November.

I have also updated the meeting calendar through the end of Febuary. That means we are now accepting reservations for the meeting room through February of 2009.

This month, several things are happening.

First, we are a voting site for Precinct 135 on Nov. 4th. Be prepared because it is likely that will be a *very* busy day.

2nd, we are gearing up for the installation of the Bert Long Mural. As part of that, LeAnn has emptied the shelves on the aisle where the painting will be installed. The Beginning Readers and the Holiday Books are on carts over by the Holds Shelves. The Picture books are on carts over by the board books. Carpenters will be in on the 6th to start altering the tree. The actual art installation will occur on the 11th while we are closed for the holiday. The formal reception and grand unveiling will be on the 15th from 7-9. Workers will be in on the 14th to set up tables for the reception.

If anyone asks about the paiting, tell them that it is supposed to be installed the week of the 10th.
